How to play

Start from a given word and transform it down a chain, one operation per step. Operations include changing, removing, injecting, appending and prepending a letter, reversing, and anagramming the whole word, and each step has a cryptic clue for the word it produces. The clues are listed out of order, so working out which belongs to which step is the puzzle. Play timed or casual.
