How to play

Transform a start word into an end word by filling the 3 hidden words between them. Each of the 4 steps changes one word into the next through a different kind of wordplay, an anagram of all the letters, a switch to another form of the same verb, a homophone that sounds identical, or a word that forms a compound with the current one. Reveal each step's type as a hint, then work out the full chain.
