How to play

Starting from a 5-letter word, play a chain of 5 new 5-letter words, each one a real word that differs from the one above it. Each word scores by how few letters you changed, 5 points for 1 letter, 4 for 2, 2 for 3, 1 for 4 and 0 for all 5. By the 5th word every one of the 5 letter positions must have changed at least once. A perfect game scores 25, and par is the best score possible using common words.
