How to play

Turn the starting word into a new word in 4 steps, using each of 4 edits exactly once in any order: move 1 letter to a new position, add 1 letter, remove 1 letter, and replace 1 letter. Every step must be a real word and no word can repeat. There is no target word, so any path that uses all 4 edits wins. Undoing a step or taking a hint costs a life, and running out of lives at a dead end ends the game.
