How to play

Work out which 5 dungeon residents stand on a hidden floor and which slot each one holds, in 6 tries. Each try places 5 pieces from the day's roster, and the report marks a green ring for the right piece in the right slot, a gold ring for a piece that is on the floor but in another slot, and a gray cross for a piece that is not on the floor. Cracked slots stay in place for the next try. The residents also follow unwritten rules about who stands beside whom and where, which the game never states and you work out over the days. Cracking a floor opens the next one down.
