How to play

Work out who issued a real historical coin and roughly when it was struck. Each guess pairs an issuer, picked from a map showing every state, empire, city-state and tribe minting in the year you set, with that year on the timeline. You learn how far your issuer's capital is from the right one and which way to go, and whether the coin is earlier or later than your year. Get both right within 6 guesses. Whichever half you solve first locks in, and the back of the coin unlocks after your second guess.
