How to play

Work out the weights of 5 identical-looking crates, which weigh 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 kg, one of each. Load any crates onto either pan of a balance scale and weigh to see which side sinks or whether it balances. A counter shows how many weight orders still fit every result so far, and each crate's label narrows to the weights still possible for it. Arrange the crates from lightest to heaviest and submit, scored on the number of weighings against a par of 5. A wrong submission adds a 1-weighing penalty and tells you how many crates are in the right spot.
